Samuel Lee Ronk Jr. has been at the heart of Ronk Funeral Home since 1983, carrying on its proud legacy as its dedicated owner. A licensed funeral director, embalmer, and insurance agent, Lee has committed his career to serving families with care and compassion.
Lee was married to his beloved wife, the late Susan Ronk, for 41 years, and together they raised three children: Samuel Lee Ronk III, Joseph Brandon Ronk, and Margaret Stokely Jenkins. A 1976 graduate of Alamo High School, Lee later earned his professional degree in 1990. He is an active member of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association, staying deeply connected to advancements in the funeral industry.
Lee’s commitment to the community extends beyond the funeral home. He participates in numerous local initiatives, including Relay for Life and grief support groups, offering comfort and hope to those in need. A member of Alamo Church of Christ, his faith and service guide his life and work.
In his free time, Lee enjoys tending to his garden, traveling, and woodworking. An avid outdoorsman, he has a passion for squirrel, quail, and duck hunting, as well as crappie and deep-sea fishing. His diverse interests and love for the outdoors reflect his deep appreciation for life and nature.
