Samuel L. Ronk III serves as the Managing Director of Ronk Funeral Home, carrying forward a proud family legacy as a fourth-generation Funeral Director. Working alongside his father, Lee Ronk, Samuel is committed to upholding the tradition of care and excellence that has defined Ronk Funeral Home for generations.
Samuel is a 2001 graduate of Crockett County High School and went on to earn his Associate Degree in Funeral Service from John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science in 2007. During his time in mortuary school, he gained hands-on experience working at Ellis Funeral Home in Nashville. Before pursuing funeral service, he worked as an Emergency Room Technician at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, bringing valuable experience in patient care.
Samuel is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards in the profession. He and his wife, Leah, have been married for 13 years. Leah is the daughter of Aaron Chipman and Donna Kay Austin. Together, they are proud parents of two sons, Wade and Asher.
In his free time, Samuel enjoys gardening, fishing, woodworking, and making memories with his family. A passionate Tennessee Vols fan, he loves cheering on his team each football season. Samuel’s dedication to his family, profession, and community makes him an integral part of Ronk Funeral Home’s mission to serve with compassion and integrity.
