Wilma Rodgers

Wilma Genrose Rodgers, of Alamo, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Alamo Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 90.

Genrose was born March 19, 1933, in Alamo, TN, to the late Sammie Lee and Willie Dea Clark Rodgers. Genrose was a Bookkeeper for Tupperware in Dyersburg, TN while it was in operation. She became a widow in 2018 after the passing of her husband, Charlie "Buddy" Rodgers, whom she had been married to for 66 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Rodgers.

Survivors include her son, Richard Rodgers; three sisters, Marjorie Williams (Bobby), Sandra Goodman, and Jackie Spencer; two Grandchildren, Robert Rodgers, and Ryan Rodgers; three great grandchildren, Evan Rodgers, Sophia Rodgers, and Olivia Rodgers.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2023, in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Bro. Gibb Tucker officiating. The family will receive visitors on Saturday morning from 11:00 am until the service hour.
