Funeral Services for Vevian Evelyn Davis, 86, will be Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Cairo Church of God at 12:00 p.m. with Danny Webb officiating. The church will be open from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. for a visitation before the service. Ms. Davis passed away on July 28, 2019. She was born February 7, 1933 to Sam and Clara Leona Wood. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie Davis; sisters, Cleo "T" Lucius, Luna Rhyne, Gladys Daily, Sue Daily, Hilda Ruth Jordan; and brother, Omer Theron Wood. Surviving relatives include sons, Stephen Davis (Cindy), Ronnie Davis (Carol Elaine), Ken Davis; daughters, Patricia King (Terry Don), Theresa Elaine Mainers (James), Anita Revelle (Dennis "Butch"); brothers, Rex Wood (Jean), Henry Sam Wood Jr. (Nelda); sister, Peggy Williams (Bobby Jack); grandchildren, Donna Sue King, Melissa Rigsby, Keith Longworth, Joseph Kemmerling, April Jones, Rachel Fullington, Brian Mainers, Allison Morphis, Brittany Nicole Davis, Jessica Rains, Whitney Revelle, Jacob Revelle, Stephan Davis, Gabriel Davis; 20 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service: Eddie Daily, Sammy Daily, Jr. Wood, Shane Wood, Eric Jordan, and Jr. Jordan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Brooks and Larry Daily. Visitation will be held at Ronk Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
