Funeral services for Mr. Venis Hayes Davis, age 81, will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Frank Kimper officiating. Interment will follow at Robertson Cemetery. Mr. Davis died Monday, April 1, 2013 in Bells, Tennessee. He was born February 1, 1932 in Bells, Tennessee to the late Hollis and Ruby Davis. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his brother, Larry and Jerry Davis; sister, Nora Nanney. Surviving relatives include his wife, Geneva Davis; sons, Marty Davis, Chris Davis, Timmy Davis and Kevin Davis; brother, William Davis; grandchildren, Trey Davis, Stacy Davis, Kristy Pendergrast, Shana Davis and Cody Davis. Great-Grandchildren, Coby, Blane, Oliver, Amanda, Dallas, Camren and Hunter. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Robertson Cemetery Fund, c/o Annette Riddick, 1654 Hwy 54 South, Alamo, TN 38001. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held Tuesday, April 02, 2013 5-8 pm at Ronk Funeral Home.
