Sam Mcdonald Reece

Mr. Sam McDonald Reece passed away peacefully Sunday, March 13, 2022.

Sam was born March 24, 1935 to the late Sollie B. Reece and Mozelle Corbett Reece.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby Reece; Sister, Rebecca Joe Nylan, Anne Modelin, and Carolyn O'Neal; brothers Charles Reece and Bobby Reece; and his infant son, Fred Reece.

Sam is survived by his son, Clay Reece (Jessica); daughter, Rhonda Autry (Tim); brother, Ronnie Reece; grandchildren Madison Reece, Abigail Johnson (Bradley), Samuel Reece (Catilin), Jillian Reece, Addie Bleed, and Jessi Agee (Jared); great grandchildren, Corbett Prescott, Jim Agee, Emma Kate and George Bleed.

Sam was a proud Memphis TN Fire Fighter. He bravely served for over 26 plus years, until his retirement. Sam loved the outdoors and always enjoyed raising a garden. He dearly loved and spoiled all of his precious grandchildren. Sam was a devoted family man; He and his wife Ruby Reece enjoyed 52 wonderful years together.

Services for Mr. Sam McDonald Reece will be Wednesday March 16, 2022, 2:00 pm at Nance Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service, Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Nance Church of Christ.
