Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Stewart Tippitt, age 80, will be held on Monday, January 09, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Drake Jenkins (Grandson in-law) officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, Tennessee with military honors. Mr. Tippitt passed away on Friday, January 06, 2017, at his home in Alamo, Tennessee. Ralph served our country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He was born on January 22, 1936, to the late Carl Tippett and Eddie Mae Stewart Brown in Brownsville, Tennessee. Also preceding him in death was his son, Ralph Stewart Tippitt Jr.; sister, Nancy Holmes. Surviving relatives are his loving wife Mary Ellen Stokely Tippitt; son, Larry Tippitt (Terry); daughter, Susan Ronk (Lee); brothers, Frank Tippitt (Odette); Robert Tippett (Sandy), Joe Tippitt; grandchildren, Samuel Ronk (Leah), Joseph Ronk, Stokely Jenkins (Drake), Tyler Tippitt, Chad Tippitt, Michael Tippitt, and Jennie Tippitt; great-grandchildren; Asher Ronk, Lakynn Jenkins, Clinton Tippitt, and Christian Allen Tippitt. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 09, 2017, from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home.
