Pinine George Obituary (1941 - 2024)

Pinine Dee George, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024. Born on March 12, 1941, Pinine lived a rich and fulfilling life characterized by her compassion, talent, and unwavering support of her loved ones. In the words of Albert Einstein, "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." In this spirit, Pinine devoted her life to her family, her career, and her many hobbies. Pinine spent her professional years working as a Lab Tech at Wilson Sporting Goods, where she was known for her talent and dedication. Her supportive nature extended beyond her work to her personal life, where she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her hobbies brought joy to her life and those around her; she was an enthusiastic western dancer, a lover of all animals - particularly dogs and cats, and an avid gardener with a special fondness for flowers. Her compassionate spirit and love for her family and grandchildren were the cornerstones of her existence. Pinine will be deeply missed by her surviving family: her daughters, Amanda (Terry) Barber and Debbie Barber; her sister, Doris Reynolds; her grandchildren, Adam (Janis) Barber, Kristin (Justin) Mealer, April (Jeff) Sweat, Brooke Blankenship, and Cole Blankenship; her great-grandchildren, Brandon Mealer, Addison (Gabe) White, Bayleigh (Jordan) Woodward, and Charlie (Sarah) Barber; and her great-great-grandchildren, Aycee Klyce, Heisman McKinght, and Remi McKnight. Pinine was preceded in death by her parents, I.D. and Sallie Miller, her sister Virginia Speer, her son-in-law Steve Barber, and her grandchild, Jason Barber. A private family service will be held at a later date, with cremation services under the direction of Ronk Funeral Home.
