Octia Pauline Carter Obituary (1928 - 2014)

Funeral services for Mrs. Octia Pauline Carter, age 86, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 31, 2014 in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. Mrs. Carter died August 28, 2014 in Humboldt, Tennessee. She was born April 12, 1928 in Trenton, Tennessee to the late Fred and Julia Flippo Freeze. Mrs. Carter was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Carter; sons, Otis Carter and Dwight Brenstein; daughter, Betty Carter; brothers, Thelbert, Sonny, Floyd and Don Freeze; sisters, Freddie, Marie, Betty and Irene Freeze. Surviving relatives include her sons, Billy Wayne Carter and Larry Joe Carter and wife Heike; daughters, Paulette Brenstein and Melody Thomas and husband Kenny; sisters, Juanita Freeze Campbell and Sandra Freeze Branch; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Carter will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 5-8 pm at Ronk Funeral Home.
