Nathan Elbert Climer Obituary (1937 - 2015)

Funeral services for Mr. Nathan Elbert Climer, age 77, will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Floyd's Chapel Methodist Church with Tony Moss officiating. Interment will follow at Floyd's Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Climer died July 5, 2015 in Alamo, Tennessee. He was born August 19, 1937 in Halls, Tennessee to the late Owen and Kattie Williams Climer. Mr. Climer was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Forsythe and Effie Mae Taylor; brother, Owen Climer, Eugene Climer, Wesley Climer, Robert Climer, Tommy Climer and Evert Climer. Surviving relatives include his wife, Judy Climer; step-son, Kevin Tate and wife Tammy; step-daughter, Kelly Sheahan; sons, Bill Climer and Steve Climer; brother, James Climer and wife Sarah; sister, Eloise Ballard; four grandchildren, Sergeant Robert Medcalf and wife Ashley, Chase Tate, Zach Tate, and Taylor Sheahan; great-granddaughter, Gracie Lynn Asaro and many other family and friends. Visitation for Mr. Climer will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 5-8 pm at Ronk Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Assoication at alz.org.
