Mavis Marie Patterson Obituary (1922

Mavis Marie Patterson, age 92 of Gadsden, TN passed away Sunday March 8, 2015 at the Bells Nursing Home. She was born in Waverly, TN on Dec 6, 1922 to the late Charles and Evie Summers. She was preceded in death by her husband Julian Patterson, son Larry Patterson, 2 sisters and 7 brothers. She is survived by sons Johnny and Tommy (Mary Ann) of Gadsden; brother Vernon (Marie) Summers of Leesburg, FL; grandchildren; Jimmy (Nikki) Patterson, Jenny (Chris) Patterson, Drs. Ross Patterson and Brian Patterson, Jamie Fletcher and Theresa Eaton; and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her beautiful quilts, great cooking and for loving her friends and family. She was a loyal and longtime member of the Gadsden church of Christ and will be greatly missed by all The family will receive visitors on Monday, March 9th 5-8 pm at Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home.
