Lloyd Keith Speer

Lloyd Keith Speer, 61, died August 8, 2020. Keith was born June 12, 1959, in Alamo, TN to Lloyd W. Speer and Joan C. Speer.
He graduated from Alamo High School in 1977 where he enjoyed playing the trumpet in the high school band. It was during this time he began writing poems, a hobby he continued for many years.
While living in Memphis, he was employed as a package handler at FedEx. He attended Bethel Church Ministries where he met and married his wife. He later moved back to Alamo and attended Truth Ministries.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents Dee and Bessie Speer and E. J. (Jim) Cox; great-nephew Jonathan Amos Gant and great-niece Abigail Elizabeth Gant.
He is survived by his parents; his wife, Paula Hawkins Speer, whom he married April 8, 1989; daughter, Amber Speer; sister, Arnetta Speer; grandmother Mary Lena Emison; nieces Kate (Nick) Taylor, Anna (Jake) Gant and their children, Jett, Audra, and Charlotte.
