Larry Dale Hunt Obituary (1928 - 2018)

Larry Dale Hunt was born November 8, 1928, and passed from this life into the next on April 3, 2018, at the age of 89 years old. Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his parents, Sallie Mae and Willie John Hunt; his wife, Velma Ruth Hunt, and three brothers, Dorance Hunt, William Ray Hunt, and Charles Leon Hunt. He is survived by a sister, Julia Ann Brown (Notre) of Alamo; three daughters, Pamela Bell (Ed) of Medon, TN, Shenia Webb (Riley) of Alamo, TN, and Charlene Breeden (Frank) of Nederland, TX; five grandchildren, Blanda Robberts (Michael), Miranda Schroader (Tommy), Stephen Sutton (Whitney), T.R. Webb (Kendell), and John-Frank Breeden; three great-grandchildren, Jaggar Robberts, Mabry Catherine Schroader and Knox Thomas Schroader; and two Sutton great-grandchildren on the way. Visitation will be April 5, 2018 from 3-5 pm with the memorial service to follow at 5pm both hosted at the Nance church of Christ. Interment to follow at the Nance Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tommy Schroader, Riley Webb, Frank Breeden, Ed Bell, Larry Whitten, Jagger Robberts, and John-Frank Breeden. Honorary Pallbearers are Franklin Phillips, Sam Miller Colvett, Charles Castellaw, Ed Churchwell, Jody Byrd, Ed Ross, Bobby Gene Williams, Ira Burrow, Jimmy Wheeler, C.H. Conley, Michael Robberts, Ray Hunt, Johnny Hunt, Larry Neal Hunt, Jerry Phillips, Jon Worrell, and Randy Perry. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of the staff at the Alamo Nursing Home and Rehab. Also sincere gratitude for Dr. Carroll and Dr. Rhear. Our loved ones, Larry and Ruth Hunt, received the very best care anyone could ever hope to have right here in Alamo, TN. You all treated them as your own family and we are very grateful.
