Ima Edress Hunt Obituary (1922 - 2019)

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ima Edress Hunt, age 96, will be held, Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with Stephen Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at Oakview Memorial Gardens in, Alamo TN. Mrs. Hunt was born in Gadsden, TN, on July 24, 1922, to the late Wheeler Benson Byrd and Ellen Augusta Lovett Byrd. She was a retired factory worker, and a member of the Nance Church of Christ in Alamo, TN. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, William Ray Hunt; children, Patricia Elaine Hunt, Jerry Neal Hunt, Charles Leon Hunt, Barbara Joan Park; grandchildren, Dewayne Capps, Charles Leon (Lee) Hunt II, great great grandchild, Brayden Edes; daughter in laws, Beth Webb Hunt, Linda Forsythe Hunt. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and eight sisters. Surviving relatives are her daughters, Bettye Thompson, Ima Johnson (Sammy), Deonne Park (Steven); sons, Johnny Hunt (Kim), Ray Hunt (Brenda); daughter in law, Cindy Hunt Thompson, son in law, Edward Park; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers for the funeral service will be, Larry Neal Hunt, Nathan Ray Hunt, Bradley Park, Brandon Park, William Thompson, and Stephen Anderson. Visitation for Mrs. Hunt will be, Monday, May 6, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo, TN.
