Howard Fredrick (Fred) Powers Obituary (1941 - 2017)

Funeral services for Mr. Howard Fredrick (Fred) Powers, age 75, will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Chris Rigby officiating. Interment will follow at Oakview Memorial Gardens in Alamo, Tennessee. Fred passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was a self-employed contractor. He was born on October 04, 1941, to the late Olen Ozdale Powers and Ara Minor Rogers in Lexington, Tennessee. Preceding him in death were his sisters, Diane Powers Walden, Scarlet Powers Wood, Laura Jones; brother, Olen Powers. Surviving relatives include his wife, Linda Powers; son, Raymond Powers (Kathleen North Powers); brothers, Nolen Powers, Jerry Powers (Brenda), and Terry Powers (Sheila); sisters, Jean Jones, and Ara Powers; grandchildren, Joseph Curtis Powers, and Samantha Isabelle Powers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ronk Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service will be Terry Powers, Jerry Powers, Joseph Powers, Nolen Powers, Clint Hutchinson, and Barry Cooke.
