Gail Loretta Smallwood Obituary (1939 - 2017)

Funeral services for Mrs. Gail Loretta Smallwood, age 77, will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Larry Harper officiating. Gail passed away at Jackson Madison County General Hospital on Sunday, November 12, 2017. She was born on December 28, 1939, to the late Elden Davidson Shipley, Sr. and Delores Minnie Kirsch Shipley in Poplar, Wisconsin. Preceding her in death were her brother, Jerry Shipley; sisters, Laura Wallace, and Amaryllis Temple. Surviving relatives are her loving husband, James Harold Smallwood; sons, Adam Smallwood and wife Melanie (Gadsden), and Larry Smallwood (Alamo); daughter, Lisa Smallwood (Chicago); brother, Elden Davidson Shipley Jr.; sisters, Linda Roberts, Donna Wheeler, Debbie Gascon, Lavon Darling, and Delores Wickersheim; grandchildren, Matthew King, Morgan Moore, Makayla Moore, and Luke Kamradt. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Ronk Funeral Home.
