Funeral services for Ms. Fostene Vines Griffin, 98, will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church starting at 3:00 p.m. with Justin Moreland officiating. Ms. Griffin was born September 22, 1920 to Hubert and Cecilia Vines. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Howard Griffin; sons, Ernest Wade Griffin, Willie Hubert Griffin; sisters, Christine Vines, Geneva Jaynes; and brothers, James Vines, Benjamin Vines. Surviving relatives for Ms. Griffin are son, James Terry Griffin; daughter, Nora Lavada Williams; sister, Cretes Eubanks; grandchildren, Carla Williams, Heidi Moore (Pat), Christopher Williams, LoriAnn Essory (Chris), Scottie Griffin (Sherry), Terrell Griffin (Clarinda), Melanie Griffin (Scott); 10 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service are: Christopher Williams, Pat Moore, Jonathan Taylor, Adam Essary, Chris Essary, and Jacob Hermann. Visitation for Ms. Fostene will be from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
