Ellie Marie "Sissy" Wilkerson Obituary (1927 - 2018)

Funeral services for Mrs. Ellie Marie "Sissy" Wilkerson, age 91, will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with William Harrell officiating. Burial will follow at Oakview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wilkerson passed away on August 11, 2018, at Crestview Nursing Home in Brownsville, TN. She was born On March 13, 1927, to the late John Thomas Hopper and Ellie Scott Hopper. Mrs. Wilkerson was also preceded in death by her husband, Owen (Pug) Dell Wilkerson; brothers, Porter Hopper, Haywood Hopper, DeeRoy Hopper, Arlie Hopper; sisters, Johnnie Miller, Zora Brinkley, and Viola Worley. Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her children, Judy Hamilton of Brownsville, TN, Allen Dell Wilkerson (Stephanie) of Germantown, TN; sisters Mary Frances Tinker of Georgia, Betty Joe Rosson of Bells, Christine Spain of Jackson; grandchildren, Michelle Mullins (Glen), Tracy Hamilton, Jason Hamilton (Brittany), Grace Marie Wilkerson, Christopher Allen Wilkerson; great grandchildren, Patrick Mullins, Scott Mullins, Reagan Mullins, Haley, Anna Grace, Logan, Owen, and Allie Rae Hamilton. Visitation for Mrs. Wilkerson will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018, from 5 - 8 pm at Ronk Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Alzheimer's Association.
