Dorothy Neal Turner Obituary (1925 - 2019)

Funeral Services for Ms. Dorothy Neal Turner, 94, will be held on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Alamo, TN at 2:00 p.m. with Larry Kendrick officiating. Ms. Turner passed away on December 5, 2019. She was born on May 19, 1925 to Walter Lennie DeLaney and Pearl Colvett DeLaney. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Rex Turner; brothers, Lennie DeLaney Jr., Albert DeLaney; and sisters, Darris Ray DeLaney, and Allie Sue DeLaney. Surviving relatives include son, Ray Neal Turner (Beth); daughters Rexann Turner, Laney Edwards (Lanny); 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Ms. Turner was a devoted member of The First United Methodist Church of Alamo, TN. Pallbearers for the service: Ross Edwards, William Stanberry, Cody Turner, Carson Turner, Mitch Holmberg, and Riley Webb Honorary Pallbearers: Milton Speer and Allen Turner. Visitation will be held at Ronk Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Committal Service will be held at the Alamo Cemetery after funeral service.
