Doris Ann King

Funeral services for Doris Ann King, age 60 of Gadsden, TN will be held at 4: p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Ronk Funeral Home. Colton Jones will be officiating. Burial to follow at Gadsden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. with service at 4 p.m. in the chapel.

Doris was an employee of Nutrien Agriculture Solutions. She passed away April 5, 2023. She was an avid hunter, fisherman and cook. She loved the great outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rickey King, Sr., daughter Crystal King, father Charles Lovett, grandparents ; Henry and Callie Blurton, Otis and Willie Griffin and Joe and Ida Lovett. Doris was also preceded in death by two aunts whom, she was named after, ; Doris Jean Matthews and Rose Ann Forsythe.

Left to cherish her memory is mother Patty Lovett, son Rickey (Little Rickey) King, Jr. (Kristy) sisters ; Jane Goode (Ray), Donna Berger (John), Linda Strong (Eddie), and brother Gary Lovett (Ellen). Grandsons ; Jacob, Jayce King, granddaughter Nevaeh Kenner, nieces ; Jennifer Tyson, Kayla Patterson. Nephews Brandon Joyce, Edwin Goode, and Alex McFadden. Several great nieces, nephews, and special friends. Doris is also survived by a special fur baby Maggie.

Pallbearers: Patrick Conley, Barry Ward, Logan Johnston, Jerry Agee, Mark Pitts, Clint Hutchison. Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Williams, Bobby Winston, Barry Cooke, Steve Greenway and Trent Forsythe
