Frances “Annette” Riddick, born November 6, 1942, in Bells, Tennessee, passed away on November 11, 2025. Her life was defined by love, service, and quiet strength. She was a longtime bank teller with Foundations Bank, a devoted member of Johnson Grove Baptist Church, and a loyal servant to her community through her work with the Robertson Cemetery Board and the Crockett Veterans Memorial Association. Annette’s kindness, faith, and steady dedication touched everyone who knew her. Her husband, Davie Lee Riddick, born December 26, 1934, in Maury City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025—less than a day after his beloved wife. Davie Lee was a U.S. Army veteran, a successful business owner, a longtime Trane dealer, and a former county commissioner who proudly served the community he loved. He lived a life marked by generosity, patriotism, and devotion to his family. Together, Annette and Davie Lee shared a deep bond and a lifetime of commitment to their family, church, and community. They are survived by their niece, Carol Elaine Proctor Tucker, nephew Harold Edward Proctor, great-nieces Rachel Vaden (Ryan) and Josie Tucker, great-nephews Samuel and Noah Proctor, and great-great nephew Banks Vaden. A joint funeral service honoring both Annette and Davie Lee will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ronk Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00–2:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, interment for Ms. Annette will take place at Robertson Cemetery. At the conclusion of her burial, the procession will continue to Maury City Cemetery for Mr. Davie Lee’s burial, where full military honors will be rendered in his memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robertson Cemetery or the Crockett County Veterans Memorial Association. Their love for each other and their community will continue to inspire all who knew them.
