Alamo, Tennessee
Corey Allen Lonon, born March 7, 1988 in Jackson, Tennessee, passed away on March 16, 2025. Corey was a cherished son, a devoted father, a beloved brother, and a dear uncle. His big heart and friendly nature meant that he never met a stranger. He had the unique ability to make friends with anyone and everyone, often putting others before himself.
Corey found joy in his work, serving as a mechanic at Jones Chevrolet. He had a love for anything fast, including hot rods and side by sides. But what mattered most to Corey was his family. He and his son, Parker, had a shared love for the Memphis Grizzlies. He was a role model to his nieces and nephew, always ready to teach them about the things he loved. Corey will be deeply missed by his father, Tim Lonon; his mother, Sarah Lonon; his son, Parker Lonon; his brother, Hunter and wife Angelica; his nieces, Ellie and Jennie Haynes; and his nephew, Collin Lonon. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Herbert and Lena Lonon, Bert and Joan Martenies, and his aunts, Lisa Pritchard and Barbara Reasons.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Ronk Funeral Home, beginning at 12:00pm. A service to celebrate Corey's life will follow at the same location at 3:00pm, and will be officiated by his father Tim Lonon. Corey will be laid to rest at Brownsville Memorial Gardens next to his grandmother Lena.
Pallbearers for the service will be Hunter Lonon, Parker Lonon, Logan Oswald, Barry Williams, Mark Williams, and Casey Taylor. Serving as an Honorary Pallbearer will be Collin Lonon.
We encourage those who knew and loved Corey to visit his memorial page, where you can share memories, stories, and photos that celebrate his life. His legacy of love, generosity, and dedication will live on through each of us.
