Cande Porter Edwards Obituary (1968

Cande Porter Edwards, 52, passed away on January 14, 2021. She was born on January 22, 1968 to her parents Mike Porter and Carolyn Cowan Martin. She is preceded in death by her step-father, David Martin; step-brothers, Carl Castellaw, Richard Castellaw; stepmother, Joan Porter; and half- brother, Shawn Martin. Surviving relatives include her parents; son, Carlos Campbell (Amanda); daughters, Alexandrea Edwards, Lena Edwards; stepson, Jarrett Edwards; brother, Rocky Sides; stepbrother, Jacob Williams; step- sister, Glenda Williams Moore; and grandchildren, Carlasia Porter, Camya Young, Seth Felton, Hunter Felton, Madison Felton, and Kaylianne Felton. The out pour of love shown in honor of our dear mother means more to our family than you'll ever know. Cande Porter Edwards was loved by so many, she was a stranger to almost none and to know her was to love her. She was one of the most kindest souls you'd ever met. She would do anything she could to help the ones she loved and cared for if she was able. She was a loving mother and her kids were her everything. She'll be remembered most for her uplifting spirit, bright smile, and playful personality. The family at this time would like to give a extra big thanks to the staff of ANRC for becoming her second family. I want each and everyone of you to know that she truly loved and appreciated everything each one of you did for her. We are praying for you all just as much as you are for us. We know this hit you all just as hard as it has us. We once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts for treating our mother like your own. It will always be remembered and truly appreciated. Our mother's wishes were to be cremated so out of respect of her decision that's what will be done. Therefore there will not be a viewing but instead a celebration of life on Friday January 22nd which would have been her 53rd birthday. We ask that any and everyone who loved and cared for our mother to come out to Humboldt Lake at 3 pm with balloons to release in her memory.
