Brenda Sue Stewart

Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Sue Stewart, age 70, will be held Sunday, June 05, 2016, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Bobby Rawson officiating. Interment will follow in Nance Church of Christ cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart was born on July 03, 1945, to the late Roy Crane and Thelma Rogers Crane in Salem, Illinois.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary See of Salem, Illinois; brother, Robert Crane of Salem, Illinois; son, Michael Stewart; daughter, Christina Kelly; granddaughter, Lilly Brown.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Dawn Brown (Chad Brock) of Collierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ariell White (Zach) of Bells, Tennessee; Haleigh Brown of Collierville, Tennessee; Hadley Stewart of Arlington, Tennessee, Thomas Stewart and Molly Stewart of Chicago, Illinois.
She served her country in the United States Navy as Hospital Corpsman from 1963-1966, and then served as First Lieutenant Flight Nurse in the United States Air Force from 1979-1981. Brenda was also a Registered Nurse with Davita Dialysis Clinic and a Tennessee Representative for Women's Vietnam Veteran Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 05, 2016, from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Relay for Life of Dyer County at relayforlife.org/dyertn.
Pallbearers for the service will be Gary Horn, Zach White, Kevin Steele, Andy Jayroe, Chad Brock, and Melvin Stewart.
