Betty Jo Strong

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Strong, age 90, will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Stephen Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at the Alamo Cemetery.
Mrs. Strong died February 9, 2015 in Alamo, Tennessee. She was born January 17, 1925 in Alamo, Tennessee. Mrs. Jo always was able to make her way into the hearts of those who knew her and they made their way into her's as well. She sincerely loved people and wanted the best for them.
Mrs. Strong was preceded in death by her parents, Brad and Gertrude Pigue Webb; husband, Thomas B. Strong; daughter, Tommie Jo Strong.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Ann Strong of Alamo, TN; sisters, Dot Pittman and Mildred Tyler; best fur friend, Jack.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Visitation for Mrs. Strong will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 5-8 pm at Ronk Funeral Home.
