Belinda June Reid Mitchell Obituary (1952 - 2021)

Funeral Services for Mrs. Belinda June Reid Mitchell, 69, will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Ronk Funeral Home with Gary Bailey officiating. Mrs. Mitchell passed away on July 15, 2021. She was born on January 31, 1952 to her parents, John Edward Reid and Gloria June Valentine Reid. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Daniel Harris; and sister, Debra Reid. Surviving relatives include her husband, Steve Mitchell; son, John Mitchell (Diane); daughter, Melissa Berthelson (Shay); brother, Franklin Harris (Russel Bryden); and grandchildren; Samuel Edwin Mitchell, Hannah Ruth Berthelson, Chase Adam Berthleson, Hope Alissa Berthelson. Some of the many Character Traits that just begin to describe the wonderful and beautiful Belinda Mitchell: Her infectious laughter that filled every corner of any room she entered and she had a smile to match; A passionate and practiced cook who shared her love by feeding those around her; A gardener with an inherent understanding for what plants need to grow, much like her understanding of people. She loved to travel near and far to see new places and meet new people with her girlfriends. She Wholeheartedly spent time with her grandchildren both at home and through supporting their extracurricular activities. She Exemplified the virtue of cleanliness being close to Godliness as she expressed the extraordinary ability to maintain a dazzlingly clean home without hardly ever being seen cleaning it. She loved Jesus and loved like him. She treated everyone with the same bursting joy and kindness as she would her own family. She offered a love that made everyone feel like they'd come home, no matter where or who they were. She loved to laugh and to make everybody else laugh (a social butterfly through and through)- all her friends and family know she is on a couch with some coffee making the good Lord laugh with all of her endless stories right about now. Visitation for Mrs. Belinda will be held before the service Saturday at Ronk Funeral Home, starting at 1:30 until service time. Pallbearers for the service are Gary Bailey, Glynn Bailey, Samuel Mitchell, Chase Berthleson, Danny Seaton, and Kevin Johnson.
