Abundio "Bill" Ramos Puente Obituary (1941 - 2016)

Funeral services for Mr. Abundio "Bill" Ramos Puente, age 75, will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 11 AM in the chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Pastor Royce McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in the Alamo City Cemetery. Mr. Puente passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016, in Jackson, Tennessee. Bill was born on July 10, 1941, to the late Matilde Puente and Juanita Ramos Puente in La Ascension Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his children's mother, Juanita Puente; son, Tony Puente; brother and sister in law, Daniel Puente and Bertha Puente. Surviving relatives include his wife, Linda Puente; sons, John Puente (Doris), George Puente (Jennifer), Luis Puente (Tina); daughter, Michelle Puente; brothers, Julio Puente (Chela), Alex Puente (Adela), George Puente (Maria); sisters, Maria Elana De Le Cruz (Mauricio), and Maria Rosa Zepeda (Juston); grandchildren, fourteen; great-grandchildren, four. Visitation will be held Monday, July 25, 2016, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the state room of Ronk Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service will be John Puente, Luis Puente, George Puente, Joe Asua, Martin Diaz, and Beto Alafa.
