Terry Pirtle

Terry Wayne Pirtle, age 71, of Humboldt, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Terry was born on September 1, 1954, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to Daniel and Wanda Pirtle.

Terry worked for many years with The Salvation Army in Evansville, Indiana, where he later retired. He was a devoted family man whose love and commitment to those closest to him remained unwavering throughout his life. His kindness, dedication, and love for family served as an inspiration to all who knew him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Wanda Pirtle; and his sister, Trenna Sanderlin.

He is survived by his sister, Vita Kay Price; his brother, Nathaniel Pirtle (Kim) of Robards, Kentucky; nephews, Heath Lee Price (Tameka) and Kevin Biggers (Shaina); nieces, Natalie Alvey (DJ) and Kasey Pirtle (Tristan); great-nephews, Aaron Phillips, Michael Price, Jordan Price, Bryce Biggers, Cameron Alvey and Nolan Biggers; great-nieces, Alyssa Price, Kiley Price and Carson Alvey.

Cremation services are under the direction of Ronk Funeral Home. Terry will be interred at Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, Kentucky.
